Car problems

Tue Mar 24, 2009, 12:40 PM
Well, it seems as though my car battery is once again, dead. The reason is (probably) because I have failed to start it for about 2 weeks. I want to know if I should be starting it more often, or if I should just give up and get a new battery. I only had it for about 3 years, so is there any thing I can do to make sure it doesn't die again (besides starting it more often?) Thanks.

The same thing happened to me (but mine was 9 years old) and mine just sits there too. I bought a new battery and cleaned the terminals with water and baking soda and a wire brush(let the baking soda stay on the terminals for 10 minutes after getting them wet first) Then start it once a week and drive it once every two weeks. Weird, I clicked on "Random Deviant" and your page showed up. Awesomeness!
